Miscellaneous

There are lots of things that go into shooting itself, but there are also a lot of things that go into daily life. There is a huge connection between our daily lives and our sports performance, so we think that self discovery and self improvement are great ways to begin increasing your sports performances. Check out some cool things below.

If you find anything not listed OR you want to talk about what you are learning, head over to our "Discovering Media" forum and start chatting!

Books

Reading can teach us so much, and even if you dislike it you can use it as a way to improve your patience. Here are some books on sports psychology, ranging from athlete memoirs, textbooks, coaching handbooks, and just plain psych books.

Podcasts and Audiobooks (Spotify)

Podcasts are great for quick listening, and many of them you can just throw on during short drives or doing stuff around the house. While audiobooks are longer they can dive more in depth about topics that you want to learn more about. Below are a few that we have listened to and resonate with the ideas. Also never be afraid to simply search "sports psychology", "psychology", "mental health" and see what comes up or what resonates with you.

Movies/Shows (Netflix)

Sometimes we just need a good inspirational or sports movie, and that's okay! Here are some of our favorites, and we have also included some cool learning series.

Don't forget to share new media and your opinions with us on the "Discovering Media" forum!

Workout Videos

While we can provide you with actual workout plans, there are lots of ways to do things. Different methods can be considered correct to different people, but through university and trial here are some things that helped us.

We recommend yoga/pilates as a good way to increase flexibility and tone fine muscles, this is great for both boys and girls, never be embarrassed of self-improvement!

If you want something a little more energizing, you can try dance workouts...

...or just a regular structured workout.

Here are some great PTs that can pinpoint pains and help to alleviate them.
